On this day, King George V changed the name of the Royal Family from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to Windsor to assess anti-German sentiment and to restore trust in the monarchy.

Everyone up to the grandchildren of Lord Martin Vogel, 5,750th in line to the British throne, is a direct descendant of hers either through one or more degrees.
