On this day, King George V changed the name of the Royal Family from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to Windsor to assess anti-German sentiment and to restore trust in the monarchy.

In light of the need for more information and a broader range of topics and dynasts, we have decided to upgrade Kew Station to encompass all the Electress Sophia's descendants and  her contemporaries, kinfolk, and ancestors. The primary focus shall be her and all of her descendants equally to the best of our ability and shall encompass their scope, influence, interests, and realms.
