Happy Birthday to His Most Gracious Majesty King George III

Image
King George III's 283rd birthday is today! Our most important holiday followed by others. Today we will relish his memory in many ways necessary. I will read a few books, write more literature and begin to make a monument. Also, I shall try finding those who can help maintain his legacy. King George III had written more than 6,000 essays on varying topics from Monarchy, History, Science, to Agriculture.

King George V of Hanover

Image
King George V of Hanover (5/27/1819 - 6/12/1878) Prince George Frederick Alexander Ernest Augustus was born in Berlin to Ernst-August the Duke of Cumberland, the fifth son of King George III, and his wife Princess Frederica. Prince George was a potential suitor to his first cousin the future Queen Victoria as he was suggested by his father to their uncle King William IV but this didn't come to fruition. He was born partially blind in one eye but eventually became fully blind after an incident with his watch.

The Annals of Agriculture: 1780s

Arthur Young was a writer who writes numerous books on agriculture and other sciences despite not being a good farmer. Luckily he was an anonymous patron whom he commissioned a book for? This patron went by the name of Ralph Robinson of Windsor and his suggestions to Young's book revolutionised the agricultural industry. It sold out almost everywhere and farmers met newer standards daily with precursors for our modern health systems being established. Who was this Ralph Robinson?  Why he was none other than King George III himself writing from Windsor Castle in a rare moment of leisure! God Save The King! https://georgianpapers.com/2017/01/19/farmer-georges-notes-agriculture/

He was an experienced naval officer, one of the first royal Freemasons after his father, and a most popular figure in London's society. He died in self-exile in the Princely Palace of Monaco before he was buried in Westminster Abbey with several of his relations.

His Most Gracious Majesty King George III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Ireland and Hanover

Image
King George III Our model paragon. The reason why we have chosen him is that he has been our inspiration for many years. His abhorrence of decadence, his sense of piety, his lifestyle regulation and routine has inspired us to be our very best.  Much maligned like most truly good people are, his story opened our eyes to how things cannot be judged at first glance. His birthday is celebrated by this group: May 24th by the Old Style Calendar, June 4th by the New Style Calendar. He and his family which are the focus of this blog will be discussed frequently with other topics relating to them. We advise you that since this is a blog in his honour, you must be respectful to him! The Life Anniversaries and Milestones of him, his fifteen children, consort, few forefathers, paramount allies, and his general reign shall also be observed. On another topic, we are entertained by his rather enjoyable punctuations of "What, What" and "Hey, Hey" at the end of his sentences.
