 Happy Birthday to the Crown Prince of Serbia and Yugoslavia!

Александар II Карађорђевић or Aleksander II Karađorđević is heir apparent to the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes which is better known as the Kingdom of Yugoslavia thus head of the Karađorđević dynasty.

Crown Prince Alexander was born in the Claridge’s Hotel during his parent's stay which was designated as Yugoslav territory by the British Government on the orders of Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill.

He is the 3rd great-grandson of Đorđe Petrović, known as Karađorđe, Supreme Leader of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes via his father His Majesty King Peter II of Yugoslavia or Његово Величанство Краљ Петар II од Југославије. 

Through his mother Queen Alexandra, he is a grandson of King Alexander of the Hellenes making her the fifth great-granddaughter of King Frederick V of Denmark and Norway. She is also the fifth great-granddaughter of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia.

Via his paternal grandmother Queen Marija Karađorđević of Yugoslavia, he is the 8th great-grandson of George I, King of Great Britain but the 3rd great-grandson of Queen Victoria.
