A Posthumous Happy Birthday to His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh

His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

(6/10/1921 - 4/9/2021)
Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark was born in Mos Repos, Corfu, Greece to Prince Andrew of Greece & Denmark, a grandson of King Christian IX of Denmark, and Princess Alice of Battenberg, a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. He grew up in numerous places from France to the United Kingdom where he was under the guardianship of two of his maternal uncles for his formative years, George Mountbatten, 2nd Marquess of Milford Haven and Louis Mountbatten, Earl of Burma. After graduating from Gordonstoun, he pursued a passionate naval career where he inevitably became an Admiral of the Fleet. Eventually, he married Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, the eldest daughter of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth with whom he had four children. He was thus ennobled as His Royal Highness, Philip Duke of Edinburgh, Earl of Merioneth, and Baron Greenwich with the surname of Mountbatten in honour of his uncle. His naval career came to a decline when his father in law died and his wife ascended to the throne as Queen Elizabeth II. He and Queen Elizabeth were married for 73 years whilst a whole 70 were in his service to her as Prince Consort. His children are HRH Charles Philip Arthur George, Prince of Wales, Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise Princess Royal, Andrew Albert Christian Edward, Duke of York, and Edward Antony Richard Louis, Earl of Wessex.

By personality, he was known for his wonderful gaffes, unconventional attitude, strict lifestyle and independence, loyalty, bluntness, and straightforward character.

He was a good man who was the Royal Patron to more to a minimum of 600 organizations and like many members of the British Royal Family, he expressed grave concerns for the upcoming world.

Sadly like all the greats, his family included, he passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2021, in Windsor Castle.

His funeral was held a week later.

Happy Birthday and Rest in Peace, Your Royal Highness.

King Ernest Augustus I

King Ernest-Augustus I of Hanover, Duke of Cumberland and Teviotdale
(6/5/1771 - 11/18/1851)

King Ernst-August I of Hanover was the fifth son of King George III and Queen Charlotte. After two of his brothers passed, he inherited the Hanoverian cradle of his family.

King Ernst-August, like his father, had strong views on the importance of a monarch and the role they should play in their countries which gave him an absolutist image in the modern world that does not deserve the criticism but further understanding.

He unlike most of his siblings valued his parents' strict morals and regulations which he adopted in his careers as Royal Prince & Peer of Great Britain and Ireland then King of Hannover.

Happy Birthday to His Most Gracious Majesty King George III

King George III's 283rd birthday is today!

Our most important holiday followed by others.
Today we will relish his memory in many ways necessary. I will read a few books, write more literature and begin to make a monument. Also, I shall try finding those who can help maintain his legacy.
King George III had written more than 6,000 essays on varying topics from Monarchy, History, Science, to Agriculture.
