HRH Prince Henry, Duke of Cumberland and Strathearn

                (Prince Henry Frederick, Duke of Cumberland and Strathearn)

Prince Henry was the fourth son and sixth child of Frederick, Prince of Wales and Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha.

He is mostly known for his illegal union with Lady Anne Horton née Luttrell but his military service should not be overlooked. He did not slight his brother King George III as one would imagine but the King was not keen about this decision which occurred without his knowledge. 

This resulted in the Royal Marriages Act of 1772.
